Viva announces a partnership with the digital platform IMAST, with the aim of supporting the purchase of necessary medication for five children with thrombocytopenia.

IMAST, as part of its mission, is conducting a fundraising campaign, during which every sum collected will be doubled by Viva. That is, every donation will have a double impact. The funds collected will help purchase the drug “Revolade”, intended for the treatment of the children.

The initiative aims to provide access to expensive and life-saving medicines for these children by uniting the efforts of individuals and companies around an important issue. The doubling mechanism makes it possible to significantly increase the volume of support.

Movses, Erica, Alexander, Esther and Rafael are fighting immune thrombocytopenia: in this disease, the level of platelets in the blood can drop to critical levels. The quality of life of children depends on the continuous intake of the drug “Revolade” which in some cases can also prevent life-threatening situations, but even a short interruption can lead to an exacerbation of the disease. The fundraising will help provide the children with a supply of necessary medicines for several months.

IMAST (URL: imast.am), having a large and active audience, tells about the initiative through reels published on social platforms, where children's stories are presented, as well as how to join the support process.

“Real change is possible when the society unites around a single goal. With this initiative, we want not only to double financial support, but also to increase attention to those families who need the most support today. Every contribution, no matter how small, can become a source of hope,” Viva’s General Director Armen Avetisian said.

IMAST founder Hayk Ayrapetyan emphasized the significance of the initiative: “The idea of the IMAST platform is that every person can participate in the chain of kindness in a few steps. Cooperation with Viva allows us to make the help twice as strong and accessible to more people.”

The project is implemented through the Health Fund for Children of Armenia (HFC Armenia), one of the largest and most trusted charitable organizations in the country, that operates thanks to public donations. Founded in 2021, the Fund provides comprehensive support for the prevention, early detection and high-quality treatment of serious diseases among children. Over the past four years, HFC Armenia has received more than 100,000 donations and invested more than 2 billion AMD, supporting more than 4,000 children with serious health conditions. By strengthening the healthcare system and promoting a culture of mutual assistance, the organization strives to ensure that every child has access to the quality medical care they need.

“This partnership is the best example of public unity. By joining forces with Viva and IMAST, we are able to provide life-saving treatment for five children. Our goal is that no child in Armenia should be deprived of the opportunity to be healthy due to inaccessible medicine,” Armen Martirosyan, Founding Director of the Children's Health Foundation of Armenia, said.

Viva and IMAST call on the public to join the initiative and support children, for whom help is vital today, within their means.
